Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I obtain an application form? You can either download an application form by clicking here, request one over the phone or apply in person. Applications must be received by February 19th prior to the academic year in which your child is 3 years old. Each application must be supported by a copy of the child's birth and baptismal certificates. Do we have to live in the Thames Ditton area? No, as part of our admission criteria you and your family must be members of Our Lady's Parish Church. How much do you charge per session? Currently our fees are £16.75 per session. Fees are paid in advance per half term by BACS, childcare vouchers, cheques or cash. The fees are reviewed annually by our committee members. Do you accept childcare vouchers? Yes, we accept the majority of childcare vouchers. Please request the appropriate documents from the nursery. Does my child have to be potty trained before they attend? No, we are happy to support you and your child in toilet training. All we ask is for you to supply, in a named bag, plenty of clothes to change into and nappy sacks for soiled clothes. Do you follow the national curriculum? Yes, at Our Lady's Nursery we deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage; the national curriculum framework for learning, development and care for children from birth to five. How many staff work at the nursery? Currently we have seven members of staff employed at Our Lady's Nursery. At each session we have a minimum of four members of staff on duty. We pride ourselves in supporting families with our high ratio of staff per session. Are you OFSTED regulated? Yes, we are regulated by the OFSTED National Standards for Childcare on Non-Domestic Premises. On our last inspection we were awarded an 'Outstanding' report.
