On accepting a place at Our Lady’s Nursery, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required; this amount is deducted from the first term’s fees and is only applicable to children not in receipt of the Free Early Education (FEE) funding. Fees are payable each term or half a term in advance, irrespective of absence and should be paid within the first two weeks of term.

The nursery fees are subject to annual review, and possible increase to keep in line with the running costs of the nursery. You will be informed two months in advance of any fee increase.

Fees will be invoiced at the beginning of each term and are payable in advance, although they can be paid for each half term if this assists cash flow.  Cheques should be made payable to ‘Our Lady’s Nursery’. Child care vouchers are accepted.

If you experience any financial difficulties in paying the fees, please speak to the Nursery Manager, or contact the parish office.

Parents are asked to communicate at the earliest stage if they are going to have any difficulty with paying the fees so that Our Lady’s Nursery can work with the parents to establish a payment plan, or determine if an application to the hardship fund is necessary. Applications to the hardship fund can be made to the treasurer of the management committee or to the Parish Priest at Our Lady of Lourdes parish. All financial issues will be treated in the strictest confidence at all times.

All three and four year olds are entitled to 38 weeks of free part time nursery education per year. At Our Lady’s Nursery we deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage education for 34 weeks of the year. As Surrey County Council funds eligible children in half term blocks you will not be able to claim the balance of weeks at another setting.

The Free Early Education (FEE) is available to all children in the term after their third birthday. Parents are required to complete a registration form at the beginning of the first term and provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate or passport, as proof of identity. The Nursery Manager will request this information when each child becomes eligible for funding. Parents will also be asked to complete a Parental Declaration form at the beginning of each term. Please note that children who attend nursery for less than five sessions prior to becoming eligible for the FEE can not be guaranteed five funded sessions per week.

The FEE entitles three-year-old children to fifteen hours per week of free nursery education and care. Our Lady’s Nursery offers more than 15 hours per week, through our daily sessions of three hours and fifteen minutes. Therefore, when your child becomes eligible for the early year’s free entitlement, the nursery will charge a levy, per session (subject to annual review) to cover the additional time. This levy enables the nursery to remain viable and allows us to retain the high quality, qualified staff we currently have. If you do not wish to take up this additional time, please speak to the Nursery manager.

Our Lady’s Nursery will also take children who are eligible for Free Early Education for two year olds (FEET).

Vouchers: We are happy to accept childcare vouchers from all the main providers, including Accor, Sodexo, Edenred, Care4 and Kiddi vouchers. We can provide you with the applicable reference numbers for ‘Our Lady’s Nursery’ on request.
