In the event of an emergency closure e.g. severe weather conditions, the following procedure will follow:-
The manager or deputy manager will email all parents to inform them of the closure.
The manager and deputy manager will contact parents by phone (both managers have a parent contact list at home) to inform them of the closure.
The managers will be guided by Surrey County Councils advice.
The re-opening of the nursery will also be emailed to all parents and again the manager and deputy manager will contact parents by phone.
The nursery will not charge parents if the nursery closes due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. power failure or heavy snow. However if the nursery is open and the child does not attend, the nursery will require the normal fee payment.
