The Nursery supports the use of a daily snack time as a social event, where good table manners are encouraged and also to reinforce the children’s understanding of healthy eating as part of a healthy lifestyle.
The nursery will ensure that;
Children’s medical and personal dietary requirements are adhered to.
Milk provided for children is semi-skimmed and pasteurised.
Snacks provided, and made by the children will be nutritious, avoiding large quantities of fat, sugar, salt, additives, preservatives and synthetic colourings.
